Brief Church history
The church was built in 1913, and had many good years. It started in Lansford by the Rev. Pounder.  Rev. Pounder was the pastor for many years. After his death, the church had many Pastors come through the doors to minster to the valley.
In 2000 the church was about to close.  There were only 12 elderly people keeping it going. Those 12 people gave the Pastor  and opportunity to lead the church as he was finishing up his schooling.  Those 12 elderly people who kept the church going when Pastor  came were.
Robert Weston, Mitzi Amos, Elmer Scheese, Roberta Brimmer, Tom Brimmer, Martyle Brimmer, Mary Jane Crook, Isabel James, Arlene Scheese, Mary Frank,
Ann Petrock, Cortis Waltkins, Madeline Flecknoe
Our door to door ministry helped the church grow.  We have had many up's and downs but the vision has not changed. "To Claim the Valley for Christ". We humble our Hearts before God, to allow Him to change us, mold us, and shape us to do his will, and work in our Community.

Purpose
To Make Disciples:
To Love God, Love People, Serve all through a minsitry of Power and Grace.
Have you ever gone through hard times. God is in the buisness of healing and working through our difficulties.
We have all been through many things, and we want to  help you get through it as well.

The Good News
The Bible tells us that we have all sinned.  Because we are sinners, we are separated from God.
The Good News is Jesus Christ the Son of God died on the cross, and by His shed blood and His conquering death by rising from the dead we can be forgiven our sins and have eternal life.
Getting to heaven is not about being a good person, it is about having Faith in Christ as your PERSONAL Savior.   "It's not a religion it's a relationship".

If you would like a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, be forgiven of your sins, and have eternal life.  Believe and Confess these things to the Lord in prayer.

Father I know I am a sinner, I believe Jesus is the Son of God, and that He died on he Cross for my sins. I believe He was raised from the dead. I repent of my sins & old life of living, and ask you to come into my heart and be my personal Savior.  Amen

If you prayed this prayer and really meant it the bible say's you are born again. It is now time to grow in the word, and be discipled. Please contact us and let us know if you have received Christ today.
